I was a little apprehensive taking on this dresser for an upcycle. We found it near our garabage cans and it was BIG, which means more paint, more sanding, more everything. But we both loved how many drawers it had, and how the long size could make it a buffet or TV stand as well as a dresser.

We had some leftover blue paint from our last dresser project so it was going to be a very low-budget fix... and low labor, considering we didn't even have to sand it down.

The blue spray paint turned out great as always, by the way this color is called Indigo Streamer in Satin by Valspar. But we knew we had to kick it up a notch with the right hardward.

We found new handles and nobs at Lowes for $1.29 a piece! We really liked the brushed antique look of these...

It makes a smile!

We decided to give the dresser a distressed look. The best way to get this is to sand areas that would naturally get worn down like corners and edges.

Here is our final Before/After!

This was a hot item in our shop. We just sold it today!
